Syracuse attack Emily Hawryschuk has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Co-Offensive player of the week, along with Virginia’s Ashlyn McGovern.

Hawryschuk scored a career-high seven goals in the Orange’s (1-1) Feb. 7 win over Canisius, adding an assist. The senior outscored the Golden Griffins in SU’s 21-6 win.

She added another six goals in SU’s 17-16 loss to No. 10 Stony Brook on Monday night, raising her season total to 13, the most in the country by four goals.

Hawryschuk currently sits at 11th in program history with 216 points. Nicole Levy (‘19) is just five points ahead at 222. This is Hawryschuk’s fourth career time winning ACC offensive player of the week.

Syracuse is off until Saturday when it hosts Albany at 10 a.m.
