Syracuse started the game up double-digits against Pittsburgh in the Carrier Dome, but the Panthers went on a run to cut the lead to 28-25 at halftime. But on Saturday, SU rebounded from its shaky first half with a 46-point second half. Tyus Battle led the way with 22 points and Buddy Boeheim scored 13 points off the bench.
