Syracuse will host North Florida on Saturday, Dec. 3 in the Carrier Dome, SU Athletics announced Thursday morning. The Ospreys reached the program’s first NIT last season, finishing with a 10-4 record in Atlantic Sun Conference and 22-12 overall mark. Game time is to be determined.

The Ospreys, who captured their second consecutive Atlantic Sun season title last year, return three starters and a total of eight players from last year’s team. They also return Dallas Moore, the reigning Atlantic Sun player of the year. He averaged a league-high 19.8 points and six assists per game last season. He was one of only four players in the country to top his league in both categories.

In the 2015-16 season, Syracuse became the first No. 10 seed to reach the Final Four in NCAA tournament history. SU finished the year with a 23-14 record.
